Hi Everyone, Carl Gould here your #70secondCEO, just over a minute of investment per day for a lifetime of results.
I’m here at a fine English pub, in London, having my fine English breakfast, on my way home from Cape Town, just have a meeting before I head home. So, here’s what I did to kind of re-engineer my life and like I said, find a business that I was passionate about.
So, the first thing I did was I made a life plan, I said I want to be paid to play all around the world and then I got a coach I went out and I hired a business advisor, I worked with a business advisor, because like I said I was in construction and I wanted to hang up the hammer, that was a big deal for me. Like I said my business was running me and I needed to hang up the hammer, get better systems in my business which I did. Then once I decided I wanted to make coaching my full-time business, I got certified. I went for everything, Coach U, Coach Federation, CoachVille, International Association of Coaches, CTI, Institute for Independent Business, Adizes Institute, Ken Blanchard, Stephen Covey, Tony Robbins, Dale Carnegie. I’m sure I’m leaving out a half dozen other ones. Then I committed to mastery, I said this is going to be my business, this is going to be the way I make my living, I went out as a certified coach for other people and on my own. I went out and started coaching, I have now delivered over 15,000 hours of coaching and I have done almost 10,000 hours of speaking facilitation and training.
