Bear Walker made 4000+ skateboards in 2019, up from 1500 the year before. His partnership with Pokemon to make a board featuring Pikachu caught the eye of the skateboarding community and the boards sold out in two days and are now selling on eBay at twice their purchase price. Bear stumbled onto a grip on the boards that's cut into the board during manufacturing, not an adhesive, that he's working to sell to other industries for boating decks or ADA ramps. All things are looking up for Bear Walker and his beautiful, high-performance, and expensive skateboards.
