info_outlineEzra chapter 9
1. One godly person can repent and intercede to God in prayer on behalf of an entire nation (Ezra 9:3, 5).
2. As you pray for our nation, confess our nation’s sinfulness (Ezra 9:6-7, 10-12).
3. As you pray for our nation, pray on the basis of God’s character: God’s grace (Ezra 9:8), God’s mercy (Ezra 9:9), and God’s righteousness (Ezra 9:15).
- God’s grace and mercy never make it acceptable to sin (Ezra 9:13-14).
4. As you pray for our nation, pray that God would send revival (Ezra 9:8-9).
- Revival is preceded by prayer (Ezra 10:1-3).
