Today I really look forward to the show, not so much because of the fascinating content but more because of our ultra fascinating guest… my dear, dear brilliant friend, Jennifer Bork.
Now, Jenn comes to us with no breathtaking resume, has authored no books, has no blog, podcast or business that places her atop the so-called social scale of that which most Americans secretly strive for.
Instead, Jenn Bork is a wife of Jon Bork, mother of two amazing children August and Tessa, a Facebook Make up guru, and a gym and boxing fanatic … but mostly Jennifer is a woman with as much practical wisdom as anyone I know.
Jennifer and I worked very closely together in the late 90’s and early 2000’s. Officially she was Executive Director of my company, but truly she did her best job as my creative muse. Apart from my wife, no one “gets me” like Jennifer. She understands both my personal strengths as well as my core pathologies that drive half of what I do and I think.
So today, Jenn and I will have a somewhat rambling conversation, catching up, after nearly a decade of very brief contact, as we brainstorm the meaning of life for the average individual and l most likely will slip into discussion about the impacts and learnings from months of quarantine.
