Ep 3. Choose Life. The Sanctity of Human Life. Pondering Passover.

In this episode, we study Power Point slide # 8, which features Deuteronomy 30:19: "I call heaven and earth to witness against you this day, that I have set before thee life and death, the blessing and the curse; therefore, choose life, that thou mayest live, thou and thy seed." Next, we discuss slide #59, entitled, A View From Sinai, a statement written by Don Feder, in which he clarifies the choice we have - to choose blessings or curses, life or death, Sinai or savagery and oblivion. We share our blog post of the week, Passover Ponderings, where we explore the exodus from spiritual slavery that occurs when we acknowledge foundational principles of Judaism, one of which is the sanctity of human life.
