Hi everyone, Carl Gould here with your #70secondCEO. Just a little over a one minute investment every day for a lifetime of results.
In coaching we have a an awareness or were asked to be aware of what is called surface structure. Surface structure is a knee-jerk response is the initial answer to a question. Hey, so how you doing? Good. That's surface structure. How's work? Busy. That's surface structure how you making out during this time? Oh hanging in there. That is surface structure. We want to peel back the onion and get below the surface structure. Okay. So when you when you write down a problem, you're probably writing down the surface structure. All right. Yeah, it's what you tell people when you see them at a networking event or something of that sort. All right, but we want to dig deeper. So here is how we get below the surface structure. We want to just gather the necessary background information so we can understand what the true problem is.
