Hi everyone, Carl Gould here with your #70secondCEO just a little over a one minute investment every day for a lifetime of results.

So the 7 Stages was a blueprint or a roadmap like you said for how to grow a business. One of the things that we learned over the years is that the sequence and the order in which you go in really makes a big difference when you're growing your business. In other words, you could be doing a lot of the right things, but if you're doing them in the wrong sequence, you won't always get your result. So for example, if you were to put systems in too early that can slow down the growth of the business. So we found that there's a very specific sequence or a path that you should follow.

So we came up with the 7 Stages because our research about companies showed that there were 7 very distinct steps that that companies go through in their development. And the first one Stage 1 is called the Strategic Planning Stage and that's when you get all of your great ideas out of your head and onto paper and you make your business an inspiring and compelling vision for the future.
