Hi everyone, Carl Gould here with your #70secondCEO. Just a little over a one minute investment every day for a lifetime of results.

If you have a partner, the chances, the odds that you will have problems with that partnership and it could hurt the business is actually very high. You're absolutely right. You're in many cases you're better off not having a partner, hiring people that are executive level or vice president level. Where you remain the owner and you have and you remain in control, it's almost always better when there's one chief and a lot of indians. You know, and there's one vision for the company, and that's where in Stage 3 we call its Synergy because everybody's in alignment with the vision. We agree on the goals, and so if you are the owner you take charge, it's your vision and then you can delegate aspects of that vision to the accounting person to the salesperson to the operations person. Then you have a well-rounded team and your chances of succeeding are much much higher.
