This annual celebration of the miracles at Mt Sinai over 3300 years ago offers the Jewish people and the world a yearly opportunity to recommit ourselves to the spiritual blueprint for living contained in the Ten Commandments and our Torah.  Many life affirming messages come to us through God's revelations at Mt Sinai, among them the prohibition against murdering innocent human beings, and the insistence that we guarantee the transmission of these holy principles by inculcating our children with them.
