The Alan Sanders Show
Today, before I jump into what is the biggest news item of the day, have to remind you just how far we’ve strayed from our Constitutional Republic. The only way to truly grasp the full extent over just how far we have fallen toward a third world banana republic is to remind you where we started. And, I don’t intend to go that far back. I can illustrate this with the events of the past week and the first two years of the Biden regime. The only item that goes back further is an interview Barack Obama gave in 2001. Let’s start. First, let’s discuss how CBS executive have decided their...

Today we remind you that while petty politics is at play 24/7, China is making financial moves around the world that will have devastating effects on the US and our economy. Brazil just announced they will now use their own currency and vice versa when trading with China. They are no longer going to use the US Dollar as the intermediary. Brazil is not just South America’s largest economy, they are the largest in all of Latin America. Additionally, French and Chinese energy companies have also just agreed to a first ever cross-border settlement of LNG trade using the Yuan. The undisclosed...

Today’s show is somewhat of a continuation from yesterday. We start with a sound bite from the Meat Puppet-in-Chief who thought doing a few minutes of stand-up comedy before addressing the school shooting was appropriate. I wanted to play it yesterday, but it really didn’t match with the tenor of the rest of the show. It’s so bad even Rita Panahi with Sky News in Australia mocked him saying, “He needs the autocue, he needs the cards, he needs so much direction.” We then jump to a soundbite from Cenk Uygur of The Young Turks program advocating, for the first time, that the only group...

For today’s show, even though I don’t want to spend time on it, I know I need to dive into the school shooting in Nashville, TN. I won’t be giving out the person’s name because I rarely, if ever, add to the notoriety they so often seek. What will be interesting is to see if this story has legs to it or if it disappears after a few days. There have been similarities in Colorado Springs, Denver and Aberdeen. Some of you may not even remember them, that’s how fast they left the front page. In those three cases, just like Nashville, the shooter was a confused, self-deluded individual,...

Today we continue the discussion of what China is doing on the world stage that has gone largely overlooked by our own Legacy/mainstream media. There is serious concern, suddenly, about countries being encourage to decouple from the US dollar and implement China’s Yuan. With our supposed ally, Saudi Arabia, being courted by China to stop using the US dollar. If that were to happen, and if other countries followed suit, the dollar would become even less valuable that today, which means inflation like we have likely never seen in our history. Monica Crowley weighed in on this earlier today,...

Today we open with a reminder that it looks like NYC DA Alvin Bragg has gone down in flames in his promise to bring an indictment on former president Donald Trump. While that was a newsworthy story, it seemed odd to me it was taking up all of the oxygen in the news cycle. So, what have they not been covering while keeping us all fixed on the shiny bauble? Could it be the failing banking system? Are we seeing the Cloward-Piven Strategy being brought to bear intentionally? They know we won’t accept a central-banking model as of right now, but what if they crash the banking sector? What if the...

Today is a special presentation where I bring you the first hour of the Erick Erickson Show from yesterday where I filled-in for his show. Across the nation, I opened with a discussion of New York City Attorney General Alvin Bragg’s zealous attempt to prosecute the former president. On a three hour radio show, I talked about a lot of other subject, but for the purpose of today’s episode, I wanted to just isolate that part of the discussion. I lay out the case, both in terms of the history of the actions, how it’s gone past the original statute of limitations and is now being litigated as...

Today's show opens with a soundbite from Treasury Secretary Janet Yellen saying the banking industry is "stabilizing" and "the U.S. banking industry remains sound." Well, how do you reconcile those two conditions? If It's beginning to "stabilize," wouldn't the suggest they are unstable at the moment? If so, how is that "remaining sound?" I think we have yet another example of magical-thinking, which is more likely given her track record. This leads to Joe Biden's produce video explaining why he has decided to veto a bipartisan bill meant to not force financial investors from having...

Today we need to take a hard look at the bureaucratic policies being put in place to push a prejudiced and bigoted agenda of promoting people and ideas solely based on outside labels and demographics. It was wrong to exclude people for positions based purely on those superficial labels and it is just as wrong to only look at those labels. Before we dive into the DEI discussion, it’s worth noting a couple of items from over the weekend. According to social media posts from Donald Trump, news agencies are saying the NYC DA Alvin Bragg is going to have him arrested on Tuesday for the hush money...

Today we open first with a discussion of how we now know there were a few financial institutions who were interested in either helping or buying Silicon Valley Bank, but the radical, Leftist ideologues at the FDIC and in the Biden regime would not let that happen. They had a whitelist of "approved" banks, but none of them either wanted to or could come in to help. Thus, we the taxpayers are bailing out bad decision-making. And, according to Kevin Hassett, Former Chair for the Council of Economic Advisers, this is only going to incentivize risky investments, knowing the government will come in...
info_outlineIn this episode, I get the chance to chat with Dr. Tim Ryan about variants, vaccines and natural immunity. We also touch on the dangers of the government trying to censor free speech by pressuring social media outlets to lock down information they don't like. Both Dr. Ryan and I are all in favor of those who are at-risk getting their vaccinations. What we have a real hard time understanding is why natural recovery and immunity is constantly ignored. Studies and data consistently show natual recovery is the strongest protection against reinfection, including against variants. A vaccine is the next best way, but it is not a guarantee against catching Covid-19 again. The goal is to reduce the severity of the symptoms, thereby avoiding hospitalization or worse.
The conversation leads to wondering if the term, "vaccine," is the best term? It seems as though a drug or treatment that helps to reduce the severity of the virus is more of a therapeutic rather than a true vaccine. We wrap with a discussion over the mental health issues already plaguing the youngest members of our population who literally have the least to fear from Covid-19. Unfortunately, the effects of depression, anxiety and fear will negatively impact one to two generations for years to come.
