In this episode, I challenge the notion that healing must be a heavy, burdensome experience. Instead, I advocate for a lighter approach, where we can learn to feel our emotions without being overwhelmed by them. Throughout the episode, I discuss the concept of nervous system regulation and how it plays a crucial role in our healing journey. I explain that healing does not necessitate a complete pause in our lives; rather, it involves training our minds to respond differently to triggers and challenges. By embracing emotions and learning to navigate them, we can create a sense of safety and...

In this episode, I am thrilled to share my reflections following the Outspoken Master Practitioner immersion, a transformative six-day experience where we practiced and experienced the tools of NLP (Neuro-Linguistic Programming). info_outlineIn this episode, I am sharing some thoughts from Robin Sharma’s latest book, The Everyday Hero Manifesto. In one of the chapters, he spoke about what a difficult day for the ego looks like. Those are the days where we are full of doubt, unsure of our next steps, second-guessing everything, and how it seems easier to stay put where we are. A difficult day for our ego can truly be a beautiful day for our soul, who is literally waiting to soar and fly.
In today’s episode we discuss:
1) Our ego sits in comparison, and judgment, wants us to stay small and protected, and wants to block us from receiving support from others. This process also interferes with our feelings of worthiness, and that opens up so many other issues of worthiness in our life.
2) Our ego wants things to be perfect, it expects it, and ironically our imperfections are what make us human, allow us to connect with others, and build relationships with people who know, like, and trust us. The difficult day for our ego is truly a beautiful day for our soul who is truly trying to be heard.
3) “We are all in training for life, the more we sweat in training, the less we bleed in war.” Robin Sharma. We are always a work in progress, and instead of meeting these days with resistance, what if we ask deeper questions about what are we here to learn, what is this teaching us, and what if the lessons we are learning today make us even better for the challenges or opportunities for tomorrow?
