Dr. Dilip Jeste, MD, is the Senior Associate Dean for Healthy Aging and Senior Care, and Distinguished Professor of Psychiatry and Neurosciences at University of California San Diego. He is a geriatric neuropsychiatrist specializing in successful aging and the science of wisdom. He has published 750+ peer-reviewed journals articles, 160+ book chapters, and 14 books. He is past president of the American Psychiatric Association, and a member of the National Academy of Medicine. His work has been featured in Time, The Atlantic, The Washington Post, Wall Street Journal, The London Times, BBC, NPR, and other national and international media outlets.
