Cinema Psychos - A Movie Review & Comedy Podcast

It's Valentine's Day (well...a few days after) and what better way to tell someone you love them by scarring them for life at a 6th grade dance so that they grow up to be David Boreanaz with a bloody nose and make it their mission to murder you with hallmark greeting cards while wearing a cupid mask. This week, we are talking about Valentine from 2001. One of the last major slashers of the early 2000's that was playing off the coat tails of Scream, I Know What You Did Last Summer, and Urban Legend. This week, after a bit of a break for our live show for the 48 hour film project in Pittsburgh, we are back to look at a filmmaker that has managed to constantly merge genres with a massive talent in using all the tools of the trade to visually tell a story.  We're talking about Edgar Wright.  The filmmaker behind Shaun of The Dead, Hot Fuzz, and Baby Driver.  A technical wizard and a master of filmmaking choreography.  However, a massive talent like Edgar Wright requires a massive talent to assist in the review, so we are joined by fellow film podcaster, Sophia Ricciardi of MOVIESTRUCK!   We pull back the curtain to take a hard look at this filmmaker and attempt to answer the question....can John come up with a  million dollar catch phrase like "snoochie boochies" to include in Brian's next film.
