Marsha emphasizes that our internal dialogue is a powerful broadcast that shapes our reality, and she encourages listeners to reflect on the nature of their own thoughts. In this episode, I challenge the notion that healing must be a heavy, burdensome experience. Instead, I advocate for a lighter approach, where we can learn to feel our emotions without being overwhelmed by them. Throughout the episode, I discuss the concept of nervous system regulation and how it plays a crucial role in our healing journey. I explain that healing does not necessitate a complete pause in our lives; rather, it involves training our minds to respond differently to triggers and challenges. By embracing emotions and learning to navigate them, we can create a sense of safety and...

In this episode, Marsha dives into the distinction between inspiration and activation, sharing her personal insights and experiences that have shaped her understanding of these concepts. She begins by expressing her mixed feelings about being labelled "inspiring," revealing that while she appreciates the sentiment, it often feels superficial unless it leads to tangible change in others' lives. She explains how activation reaches beyond the conscious mind, tapping into one's identity and beliefs, ultimately leading to a shift in perspective and behaviour. Marsha passionately advocates for the...

In this episode, I am thrilled to share my reflections following the Outspoken Master Practitioner immersion, a transformative six-day experience where we practiced and experienced the tools of NLP (Neuro-Linguistic Programming). This was my first time leading such an intensive program, and while it came with its challenges, I emerged with invaluable insights about myself and my coaching practice. I also touch on the subconscious mind's inclination to cling to familiar patterns, even if they lead to exhaustion. I highlight the significance of pausing and integrating our experiences rather than...

info_outlineIn this episode I am sharing some thoughts on the progress you can’t see, and how often we judge ourselves for the progress that we can’t see and then assume that nothing is happening. When you start judging yourself for the progress and then equating that to your value it will stop you faster than you realize.
In today’s episode we discuss:
1) You can have full certainty in your vision, and not have certainty in the path or how you will get there. There’s a million ways to get there so how can you stay more open in all of the possible ways to get there?
2) Think of a bamboo tree. Its growth has been measured at almost 4 feet in a 24 hour period during the Spring shooting period. When the new shoot reaches its height, it will unfold its branches and new leaves. It teaches us lessons about patience, faith, perseverance, growth, development and, most importantly, human potential. It can take five years to grow. It has to be watered and fertilized in the ground where it has been planted every day.
3) Allow yourself to be proud of yourself and all the progress you've made. Especially the progress that no one else can see. You will overestimate what you can do in one year and underestimate what you can do in 10 years. You are literally the bamboo tree and sometimes it is one connection, one person, one opportunity or introduction that can change your story or situation.
