This is a considerable improvement made upon an earlier interview, I held this past summer (2025) w/ Marnie Darling Voter. Marnie ,a direct decendent of Benjamin Darling, of whom all other residents decended from, were, at the turn of the century in 1912, evicted from Malaga Island, Maine. These Malaga Island residents, were primarily subsistence fishermen along the coastal Islands of Maine, who were victimized by " a blanket of yellow journalism," eugenics, and racism in the extreme.
