That being said the number of incredible athletes that showed up to Belgium to compete made this an incredible World Championship event!
When looking through the results Gian Maria Savani stood out as both the winner of the short course, runner up of the standard course, and an athlete that we didn't know as much about. We reached out to have him on the show to hear more about him and were thrilled to have him as this week's guest!
We discussed how he got into obstacle course racing, which athletes he looks up to, the importance of discipline, and how his races went.
