Another tough week for Seattle Seahawks fans after our team lost to the Minnesota Vikings 27-24, putting any playoff hopes in serious jeopardy. We break down the game, and discuss how our Seahawks had a lead but couldn't hold onto it in the fourth quarter. Despite a promising comeback led by Geno Smith, the offense struggled with balance and timely penalties. With the loss, the Seahawks playoff hopes now rest on the Arizona Cardinals being able to beat...

Sea Hawkers Podcast: for Seattle Seahawks fans

The Seahawks suffered an infuriating loss to the Packers on Sunday, but it did bring some clarity on changes that need to be made in the offseaon (if not sooner). We take a look at what went wrong with the team in their slow start and what kept them from coming back despite having the opportunity, in part thanks to the defense for bouncing back in the second half. However, the offense remained a disaster throughout, exacerbated by Geno Smith's injury and the decision to put Sam Howell into chucker mode . Looking ahead, we take a look at the upcoming game against the Minnesota Vikings....

The Seahawks suffered a tough loss to the Packers, falling 30-13 in a game that highlighted some of the strengths and weaknesses of the team. After quickly falling behind 14-0 in the first quarter, the game felt like a slow inevitability, despite moments of hope. The two touchdown lead came as a bit of a surprise, as Green Bay had only scored that quickly twice this season, especially considering how well the defense had been playing in recent weeks. Where does this leave Seattle's chances for the playoffs? Part of that answer will depend on the status of Geno Smith and how quickly he'll be...

The Seahawks delivered a 30-18 win over the Cardinals on Sunday, fueled by a strong start with the help of back-to-back interceptions by Ernest Jones and Coby Bryant on defense. The offense capitalized off the turnovers to help set the tone for one of the team’s most complete performances of the year. Zach Charbonnet shined with 134 rushing yards, 59 receiving yards, and a touchdown, while Geno Smith’s efficient day under center included a touchdown to Jaxon Smith-Njigba. Are things starting to come together for offensive coordinator Ryan Grubb? Seattle are atop the NFC West, but the Rams...

The Seattle Seahawks pulled off the comeback win against the New York Jets, but it wasn't pretty. The Seahawks got behind early in the first half against a struggling Jets team and despite the shaky start that was nearly disastrous, they were able to rally. Defensive Player of the Week Leonard Williams had several standout plays. He blocked an extra point, delivered a pick-six, and was a consistent threat in the trenches. Are the Seahawks starting to find their way on offense? There were some moments that offered glimmers of hope, particularly as the team shifted to playing more from under...

In a game filled with bizarre moments (particularly on special teams) Leonard Williams emerged as the standout player of the game once again. Williams delivered a blocked extra point, a pick-six, and critical sacks to help secure a Seahawks victory. Mookie Alexander of Field Gulls joins the show to talk about the biggest comeback win of the Geno Smith era. However, Geno and the offense will need to clean up their act moving forward, particularly with their goal-to-go offense, where questionable play-calling and execution nearly kept the Seahawks from getting the comeback win. Looking...

The Seahawks jumped back up to the top of the NFC West this past Sunday with a 16-6 win over the Arizona Cardinals. We dive into the game and talk about the defense's outstanding performance that held James Conner to under 10 rushing yards and contained Kyler Murray. Leonard Williams made a significant impact, and the pass rush as a whole is pressuring at a rate that is difficult to believe. It wasn't the prettiest win though. With only 10 offensive points, we examines the Seahawks offensive struggles and we get into some of the theories around why it may take some time for it to pull together...

Sea Hawkers Podcast: for Seattle Seahawks fans

The Seahawks defense shines bright as they defeat the Arizona Cardinals 16-6 in a hard-fought divisional matchup. Coming off a tough loss to the Rams, Seattle's defense stepped up in a big way, holding the Cardinals to just six points. The defensive line was relentless, pressuring Kyler Murray and shutting down the run game, limiting James Conner to a mere 8 yards on 7 carries. Geno Smith and the offense had their struggles, but a key screen pass to Jaxon Smith-Njigba set up the go-ahead score. Despite some offensive hiccups, the Seahawks' defense carried the day, with standout performances...

Fans are frustrated and looking for answers after back-to-back losses to division rivals. With the prospects of a playoff push now dimming, should the Seahawks start the firing spree? With that type of move unlikely to happen, we dig into some of the statistics of the NFL's best offensive teams and look at some of the ways the best offenses in the league are scoring the most points, leading in DVOA and also creating explosive plays. Plus, it's something the Seahawks might actually be good at if they just choose to do more of it.

If the Seahawks are going to maintain their playoff hopes, one win over the next three games should keep them in the running. The matchup against the Dallas Cowboys may present their best opportunity. The downside is that Dallas has been one of the NFL's best teams playing at home this season.  They've been destroying bad teams on their home turf. If the Seahawks truly are bad, this Thursday's game should tell the story.

The Arizona Cardinals didn't do anything to help our Seahawks with the Rams spot in the NFC West standings. We also may be seeing why they were ok with moving on from Josh Dobbs who had a disaster of a performance against the Chicago Bears. A pair of writers from the Athletic and a legendary actor find themselves in the crosshairs to Do Better. We close with a discussion on why both society and YouTube Premium are better at life than Skip Bayless.
