Have you ever noticed that women seem to be more eager to talk than men? Indeed, modern science suggests women on average use at least twice as many words in a day as men. It's one thing to know that - but as a husband, what do I do about it? Join me in this episode as I present a simple and fun concept about how marriage communication works: the Meadow Report. If you lean into and embrace giving your wife what she needs to feel loved and supported, she's way more likely to support you as well. Furthermore, it's what Christ calls us husband to do.

Have you ever noticed that sometimes what your wife says she wants isn't what she actually wants? While this is true for everyone, modern women are in a particular pinch about expressing what they want from a man. The truth is they simultaneously want a deep and powerful masculine presence from their man but are also scared of that masculinity. This can be a very confusing message to men - especially men who are not confident in their own masculinity. The solution is for you, the man, to both lean into authentic masculinity, but to do it in a way that remains true to you, and thus "safe." This...

I just want what I want when I want it! Perhaps you've thought or felt that before? I certainly have. It's actually hard work to discern how to balance when I need to care for myself and when I need to tend to the needs of others. There is no one right answer, and it's easy to fall into vice in either direction. As we go through life, the right balance changes. We have to adapt as our lives change (perhaps another child is born) and as those around us change (perhaps our wife is sick.) How do we balance this? Join me in this episode as I cover some basics in this balance. I talk about...

Lent this year has been quite a bit rougher than what I had planned on. Sometimes, living in the painful valley can be well...painful. The valleys we choose are bad enough. When we get an even tougher valley, it can be downright discouraging. Ever wonder why Jesus retains the visible wounds after His resurrection? Yes, to a certain extent, they help prove that he was actually crucified (and not some identical twin or something.) His wounds, however, a powerful tool that He uses to build the faith of His followers then, and now. Join me in this episode as I explore the idea that God can use...

The world may look like a totally different place. Join me in this episode as Sig Muller describes his (medical) death and recovery. His perspective on life and the faith is forever changed because of those events. He rediscovered his Catholic faith in a new and powerful way. You can read more about Sig on his website: I also invite you to check out my free Manly Strengths Assessment at
info_outlineWe all know we're supposed to forgive. It should be simple, it should be straightforward. But the truth is it's not only complicated, but extremely difficult.
Often we don't even realize when we're failing to forgive.
Historians often say that those who do not study the past are doomed to repeat it. I would add that those who do not forgive past hurts are doomed to repeat them.
Join me in this episode as I walk through both the metaphysics of forgiveness and some practical ways to really strive towards a deeper forgiveness of others. If we do not forgive, we hurt ourselves - badly. Our Lord's words could not be more clear on this.
It is one of the most powerful things you can do to transform your future - for you, your family, and your community.
