How do we get transparency from AI manufacturers regarding the data sets used and the intended applications of their algorithms? Is there a need for independent verification bodies to assess the robustness of AI tools?
The conversation concludes with a call for collaboration among clinicians, manufacturers, and regulators to harness the power of AI in healthcare while safeguarding patient outcomes, underscoring the exciting yet challenging future of AI in medicine.
