Own Your Choices Own Your Life
In this episode, I am sharing the message of manifestation combined with NLP. I am currently reading "Mind Magic" by Dr. James Doty, a neurosurgeon who explores the science behind manifesting and how our brains function. His insights have resonated with me, especially as he outlines a six-step process for manifesting anything you want. I share these steps through the Neuro-Linguistic Programming (NLP) lens, hoping to provide a fresh perspective that might resonate with you. Bring your pen and paper. This is a packed episode. The six steps broken down in this episode are: 1. Reclaim...
info_outline 811 | The Book You’re Writing Every DayOwn Your Choices Own Your Life
In this episode, I dive into the concept of our daily thoughts and how they shape the narrative of our lives. I start by sharing a striking statistic: we have between 60,000 and 80,000 thoughts daily, with 80% to 90% being repetitive and predominantly negative. This realization led me to a powerful metaphor: if we write a book in our minds daily, what kind of book are we writing? What is your "daily book" revealing about you? Are the thoughts uplifting and empowering, or do they serve to tear you down? What would someone learn about you if they read the book of their thoughts from that...

This brain dump technique can lead to surprising revelations about our inner dialogue, often exposing feelings and beliefs we may not consciously...
info_outline 808 | Creating Safety Within Will Help to Manifest Your DreamsOwn Your Choices Own Your Life
As we kick off this short Friday episode, I introduce a tool that I wish I had understood much earlier in my journey. The key takeaway? To truly create results in your life, you must first feel it before you see it. I discuss the importance of cultivating a sense of safety within your body to hold the goals you desire. Many of my clients come in with big dreams, but when I ask them how it would feel if those dreams were realized today, they often express feelings of fear and unpreparedness. This reaction stems from the subconscious mind's primary job: to keep us safe. I emphasize that stepping...

Throughout the episode, I explore the common barriers that prevent aspiring authors from writing their books. Many people feel their stories aren't significant enough, are overwhelmed by the enormity...
info_outlineIn this episode, as we approach the end of 2024, I dive into the often challenging process of self-reflection that many of us face at this time of year. It's common to find ourselves caught in a cycle of overthinking and self-criticism, questioning our achievements and feeling like we haven't done enough. I share my personal experiences of being my own harshest critic and how this mindset can hinder our growth and success.
I explore the idea that we tend to be most critical of the very things that showcase our unique gifts and talents. I discuss how this self-doubt can stem from external influences, such as discouraging comments from others, which we internalize and allow to shape our self-perception. By over-analyzing our shortcomings, we create barriers that prevent us from moving forward.
I emphasize the importance of shifting our mindset from one of shame and judgment to a more neutral perspective. Neutral language is a tool for self-reflection, encouraging listeners to recognize their patterns of self-criticism and to replace negative self-talk with curiosity and understanding. This shift can help us break free from the fog of doubt and allow us to see our strengths more clearly.
I also touch on the significance of recognizing our emotional responses and how they can impact our ability to expand in our personal and professional lives. By focusing on our body and the present moment, we can release overthinking and align ourselves with our true potential.
I encourage you to celebrate your achievements from 2024 before setting new goals for 2025. Acknowledging our wins, no matter how small, is crucial for fostering a mindset of abundance and growth. By honouring our journey and recognizing our strengths, we can set ourselves up for success in the coming year.
