One Love Ministries Hawaii

In the last Return of Christ Conference session, the focus turns to a hope that never disappoints. A hope anchored not in circumstances or emotion but in the unchanging promises of God. Drawing from Proverbs 13, Psalm 130, and the New Testament, Pastor Waxer reminds believers that while people and situations often let us down, God never will.   Through Scripture, Biblical hope is not denial of suffering, but confident trust rooted in the faithfulness of God. Because salvation has been secured through the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ, believers possess a living hope - an...

The Return of Christ Conference | Session Five: Salvation show art The Return of Christ Conference | Session Five: Salvation

One Love Ministries Hawaii

One of the most commonly misunderstood questions in modern Christianity is: “Can I lose my salvation?” Pastor David Blevins makes a critical distinction between losing salvation unintentionally and intentionally rejecting salvation, a reality the Bible identifies as apostasy. Drawing from the Old Testament history of Israel, the warnings of Jesus, the writings of Paul, and the strong language of Hebrews 6, the message shows that apostasy is not God revoking someone's salvation, but rather people turning away from covenant loyalty to Him.   Salvation is framed not as mere religious...

One Love Ministries Hawaii

In the fourth session of our Return of Christ Conference, Pastor Maiola calls us to develop a ready faith - a faith that actively prepares for the return of Jesus Christ rather than passively waiting or becoming distracted by speculation. He reminds believers that the purpose of end-times teaching is not curiosity about signs, but transformation of life. Paul’s instruction to the church in Thessalonica makes clear that readiness for Christ’s return is expressed through obedience, sanctification, and faithful living.   Readiness is not found in staring into the sky, abandoning...

The Return of Christ Conference | Session Three: Hope show art The Return of Christ Conference | Session Three: Hope

One Love Ministries Hawaii

Pastor Waxer, in his message on Salvation at the Return of Christ Conference, focuses on the Biblical hope and assurance believers have regarding the return of Jesus Christ. Romans 5 and Titus 2 presents hope not as wishful thinking, but as confident assurance. This confident assurance is gained by immersing ourselves in God’s revealed truth concerning our eternal future. When believers understand God’s plan, they live with peace, confidence, and stability.   Waxer addresses the reality of Christ’s return and final judgment, urging listeners to focus less on signs and more on...

One Love Ministries Hawaii

In this message on salvation, Pastor David Blevins challenges the church to move beyond shallow and incomplete views of salvation to rediscover the depth, assurance, and power found in God’s redemptive work. Salvation is not merely about going to heaven, but about restored relationship, allegiance to Christ, and confident assurance rooted in who Jesus is.   Pastor David unpacks three things: justification, sanctification, and glorification. Through personal testimony, Scripture, and exhortation, he calls believers to examine the security of their salvation, renew their faith in who...

In a world marked by darkness, suffering, and confusion, the return of Christ has always been a source of faith, hope, and endurance for God’s people. The Gospel of Matthew | Matthew 1:1 show art The Gospel of Matthew | Matthew 1:1

One Love Ministries Hawaii

As we begin a new study through the Gospel of Matthew, we take a step back to see the big picture. Rather than jumping straight into individual passages, this overview will help frame Matthew’s purpose, audience, and message so that we can more clearly understand who Jesus is and why He matters.   Matthew serves as a bridge between the Old and New Testaments, showing how Jesus fulfills God’s promises to Israel and brings God’s redemptive plan to completion. Written by Matthew—a former tax collector transformed by Jesus—the Gospel is aimed primarily at a Jewish audience,...

Salt & Light | Matthew 5:13-16 show art Salt & Light | Matthew 5:13-16

One Love Ministries Hawaii

In a world filled with confusion about identity, Jesus speaks with clarity and authority: “You are the salt of the earth… the light of the world.” In this celebration, we explore Matthew 5:13–16 not as a list of goals to strive for, but as a declaration of who we, as God’s people, already are in Christ. Our identity is not shaped by feelings, culture, nor is it up for debate - it is given to us by the Father.   Using the imagery of salt and light, we as believers are called to live distinct lives that, like salt, preserve what is good, resist compromise, and shine the light of...

One Love Ministries Hawaii

As the year comes to a close, Pastor Waxer invites us to reflect on what it means to finish well and stand firm in faith. Ephesians 6:10–18 calls us to stand firm by putting on the full armor of God. The life of the Christian is lived not in our own strength, but in the strength of the Lord. Each piece of the armor—the belt of truth, breastplate of righteousness, shoes of the gospel of peace, shield of faith, helmet of salvation, and sword of the Spirit—is unpacked as both protection and preparation for daily spiritual battles. Ephesians challenges us as believers to recognize the...

One Love Ministries Hawaii

As we look ahead to the new year, Pastor Maiola looks back to remember our vision as a church. Rather than introducing a new vision, Maiola introduces The Four Pillars, basing them off of timeless Biblical principles, making them practical and portable for everyday life. Together, these four pillars unite the heart and vision here at One Love: living for God’s glory, standing firm in the power of the Gospel, loving faithfully to disciple others, and being sent to make disciples in the world.

Because salvation has been secured through the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ, believers possess a living hope - an imperishable inheritance given to us by God Himself. This hope enables us to wait, endure, and persevere, even when our present circumstances feel heavy or uncertain.

Believers are called to live with expectancy, readiness, and watchfulness—not in fear or frantic anticipation, but in faithful obedience, moral clarity, and surrendered devotion. Readiness is not perfection, but presence—a heart aligned with God, hands faithfully stewarding what He has entrusted, and eyes lifted toward the coming King. This is a hope that will not let us down, as we echo the final prayer of Scripture: "Come, Lord Jesus."
