Eric and Tegan watch Bladerunner 1982 continuing in the Ridley Scott's repertoire. The visuals and score are stunning and legendary. This movie has been cited as a major inspiration for many modern filmmakers. Eric and Tegan agree that romance wasn't needed in this film, Rachel and Deckard could have just been friends. Eric also got sibling vibes from Pris and Roy and didn't enjoy them kissing, Tegan didn't feel the same. Goa'uld mother ships made an appearance in this movie! Did you spot them? The hosts feel sure Stargate reused these props for sure. Overall this movie gets high...

Eric and Tegan watch Stargate SG-1 Season 7 Episode 8 "Space Race." Sam gets a chance to get her adrenaline fix and participates in a race with Warrick from previous episode "Forsaken." Teal'c is not interested in the political summit Daniel and Jack are going to on the planet so he uses his new skill of lying so he can join Sam doing race prep. Hebridan apparently has a Human-supremacist problem and there is sabotage at work in this race! There was some casual sexism thrown in, to boot. No big deal! Murray returns in this episode with hilarious results. This is a very enjoyable one overall....

Silvana, Eric and Tegan watch Season 7 Episode 7 "Enemy Mine" of Stargate SG-1. A SG team has found Naquadah on a planet that surprise! Has Unas. And the U.S. government's first idea is to just displace them and utilize violence. This sends a troubling message about the U.S. government for sure. After a lot of effort, Daniel is able to negotiate with Chaka. And Teal'c is strangely silent regarding the Unas who were previously enslaved by the goa'uld. This episode has an Unas translation montage which makes the podcast hosts yearn for the recent movie Project Hail Mary which they all...

Silvana, Eric, and Tegan watch Season 7 Episode 4 "Orpheus," which seems to have nothing to do with the Greek myth. Teal'c is injured and has a slow recovery ahead of him and he's having a hard time with it. Jack and Daniel are, in fairness, doing a pretty good job of supporting him. Sam gets to explains a sci fi film to the team in the weight room while Teal'c is doing Physical Therapy and Daniel gets to show off his new muscles. Daniel is hearing things and seeing visions and it turns out Ry'ac and Bra'tac are on a labor planet so the team comes up with a plan to set them free....
