New Summer Cloud Wolves Expedition

Churchill Wild: Walking with Polar Bears

Release Date: 05/26/2025

Introducing Our Newest Summer Safari: Cloud Wolves of the Kaska Coast

We’re thrilled to announce the launch of a brand-new summer expedition for July 2026: Cloud Wolves of the Kaska Coast. This exclusive experience will take place at our award-winning Nanuk Polar Bear Lodge, offering guests a rare opportunity to observe elusive cloud wolves in their natural habitat along Manitoba’s remote Kaska Coast.

Led by National Geographic photographer and expert guide Jad Davenport, this extraordinary journey will focus on wolf pups at their rendezvous sites—key moments in the early life of a wolf pack. You’ll play an active role in citizen science research, helping to deepen our understanding of these mysterious predators, all while enjoying some of the best photographic opportunities anywhere in the Arctic.

In addition to wolves, guests may also encounter polar bears, moose, black bears, and a variety of birdlife as part of this immersive wilderness experience. This expedition builds on the success of our popular fall wolf tours and brings a new summer perspective to the wildlife of the Hudson Bay Lowlands.

With limited space available, this program promises an intimate and unforgettable adventure in one of Canada’s wildest and most pristine environments.
