Two Broad Casters
Somewhat inspired by the passing of Lee Estes, aka; The Man on the Mural, the broads take time in this episode to just appreciate all the regular people out here. By regular, meaning only not famous, not wealthy and not on a stage. While the dark theater of the worlds center stages rage on there are people out here everyday touching the life of another person and holding this crazy world together. The real stuff legacies are made of. Tune in and thank you for listening,

Clearly the broads were suppressing some real feels about the grotesque culture's environment for children. Between Epstein files, literature for youth, the children clothing industry, the non stop sexual inuendos in everything and the access the whole world has to our children, there is a war against kids. Innocence, naivete, and natural child development seem on hiatus replaced by "real world", fears, too much information for the sake of over protection, lack of screen monitoring and screens delivered into tiny hands. Replaced by real relationships that foster natural...

Sarah shared a story in this episode about an ordeal she and her family were undergoing for a good part of last year and felt the need to use it as a cautionary tale. Property disputes with a neighbor can be very stressful and once a neighbor decides to sue you, it adds a whole other layer to the discomfort. This is a good cast to listen to if you have an easement on your property. She, like a lot of other people are really not informed well at all regarding easements during the purchase of land but they are quite common for legal disputes so heads up if this is you. Of...

Like a breath of fresh air the Two Broads were graced with special guest Dennis Ferrier for a casual, frank and uplifting conversation focusing on goodness. Dennis is the cheif investigative reporter for FOX 17 out of the Nashville, TN market and produces the Ferrier Files segments, which covers both investigative reports and human interest stories. It was for the latter that we asked Dennis back to the cast to share a glimpse into a big part of his world; finding people doing good things, upholding traditions and keeping community. This cast shines light through all the...

County Mayor candidate Reggie Weaver joined the broads for a conversation about real people running for office. Real people, meaning people involved in their local communities who are outside of the insider ball game club. We discussed the need for people outside the political machine to step up and run for a local office, help someone who is and at the very least be involved with local politics by holding these people more accountable. People tend to ignore the politics in their own back yard, focus on the President of the country only and wonder how we got here. Everything...

Connor Jenkins, who works in the tech field, joined us for this interesting episode as he brought his insights about what tech is up to and layered with his passion for not only his love for tech but his watchful eye for us humans. Country music veteran, singer songwriter extraordinaire, Clare Dunn joined Lauri & Sarah on this recent episode. Clare, being bold enough to strike out on her own and disassemble from the major label and the demoralizing music biz reconnected with her values and makes music that is close to her heart which has led her on an additional path. Clare, who grew up on a family ranch in Southeast Colorado has recentered herself with her roots and wisdom of the plight of an American farmer. Clare spends much of her time now advocating for America's farmers, educating the public...

The world stage is nuts whether near or far. So many distractions and so many big headlines that keep people glued to the screens for any scrap of what could resemble anything like closure, progress or realistic reporting. But, alas, those things rarely emerge. It gets clearer day to day that we live under a massive dose of deception, trickery, violence and mind control. But hey, let's not let our hearts be weary shall we? Tune in for some frank discussion and salty commentary on just a few questions we have.

In this episode we discuss a known yet glossed over the problem of illiteracy in this country. We went into a backward view of where we were concerning literacy as far back as the early 1800's to where the numbers line up today. We discussed all of the implications this bears on both someone unable to read/write as well as into the many societal ills it may very likely be affecting. We of course could not help getting pretty startled by the stats and how there seems to be nothing but a continual downward spiral; if not more excelerated by our current age of technology. ...
info_outlineAll dangerous and very toxic personalities aside, how can something like declaring no contact with parents become a trend? It seems like it is rather becoming a thing in cases devoid of abuse, addictions or mental illness. In a time of severe isolation, lack of community and strained relationships it seems so very dark to make a hard line towards ones parents. Are healthy boundaries pushing over the line for sake of ones mental health or is protection of ones mental health becoming synonymous with one creating a false perfect bubble where if you don't agree with or dislike something about someone the answer becomes to ghost them; even your parents? This to the Two Broads feels most likely yet another chink in the armor of families which of course is how societies are destroyed.
