Judith Kaluzny Show Notes

A Divorce lawyer may be a strange guest for the Wedding Chaplain Podcast. However, my guest today has some valuable insights. She knows how the divorce “industry” works. And yes, it is a business. The legal system thrives when a couple goes through a lengthy divorce. Judith helps people avoid that. But she also wants people to know the legal ramifications of divorce. Divorce is not just a break-up; you need to understand the legal side of marriage. Do you, as an engaged couple, know what it means to get married according to the laws in your state?

Judith is a mother of seven children who practiced family law for 43 years. After 10 years of litigated divorces, she learned about mediation. She soon gave up going to court and started helping couples with family problems and guiding them mostly through the dissolution of marriage, which they call divorce in California. Just before the COVID pandemic hit, she devoted herself to writing.
