In this first episode, Ron shares a little bit of his own journey into spiritual formation. It began with a season of unexpected depression that ended in severe oppression. This led him to seek out help, where he discovered that he was burned out. However, after quitting half the things he was doing, he found that he was now not only depressed but also bored. It wasn't until he ventured to Scotland to spend two weeks in a retreat center that he discovered the disciplines that bring spiritual formation. It changed his life. And we also take some time to define spiritual formation.
