info_outlineIn today's episode, we discuss a different type of self-comparison that I have seen consistently show up for myself & many of my one-on-one coaching clients.
Do you want to know what type of comparison we are talking about in today's episode?
I hope you are intrigued because this kind of comparison is not talked about much, so I am excited to bring something I hope you can resonate with & leave feeling seen, heard, validated and encouraged.
In today's episode, I cover the following main points.
- My explanation on the type of self-comparison I am referring to throughout today's episode.
- Two real-life examples to better illiterate the kind of comparison I am discussing.
- I share four areas I see this kind of comparison show up most for those with chronic illness, pain & trauma.
- I share three life stages I see this self-comparison show up most, so we can be aware & intentional throughout these life stages.
- Why it is important for us to watch out for the comparison trap.
- Six ways we can be mindful & work through the comparison when it occurs
I know self-comparison can be hard and difficult to navigate at times, but if you practice today's suggestions with intention and awareness, you will be well on your way to not letting the past keep you from the future.
I encourage you to not see the type of comparison we are discussing today as a BIG BAD thing we must avoid at all costs, but rather something that is normal and expected.
Remember that we now have some tools to keep us from parking in our self- comparison mindset.
I love you all so much & I looking forward to hearing your thoughts on today's episode.
