Summary
While traveling the world, a young man discovers a magic snuff-box which can provide its wielder whatsoever he might want. The young man uses it to build a magnificent palace that attracts the attention of the neighbouring king. Impressed by the young man’s power and riches, and desiring peace, the king gives over his daughter in marriage. The queen, however, is jealous of all the splendor and steals the snuff-box and palace. Leaving his wife behind, the young man journeys out to find and restore what is theirs.
