Axle loves to to express himself with his mind and hands. He also has a love for mass production and that is where he shines in his profession as an Industrial Designer. His focus is on appearance, functionality and the ability to then manufacture said products. This interview is real and raw as he shares openly his struggle with mental well being as a creative in the corporate environment. I personally thank him for his...

The power of words. My thoughts on the meaning and power certain words can have. As a creative I have come to see that my thoughts around words can have lasting effects on me and my journey as an artist and a human. This is my first attempt at a solo episode. A "mini-sode" if you will. From time to time I plan to do this type of episode to give to a glimpse into my brain and creative process.  Let me know what you think and if you can relate. My links:

Meet the Maker

With October being Breast Cancer Awareness month it only seemed fitting for my very first episode to be about my mom. Breast cancer took her from us far to early and I did not get to interview her about her craft. What’s the next best thing? I’ll interview my sister and she will give the answers she thinks mom would. The premise of my podcast is to spotlight artists and makers that I am inspired by. Hands down my mother Judy was the first and most influential artisan in my life. Mom we love you! https://www.nationalbreastcancer.org/breast-cancer-awareness-month
