About Dr. John Berger: Dr. John Berger is an environmental science and policy specialist and a former senior research fellow at The Pacific Institute. He is the author of Solving the Climate Crisis: Frontline Reports from the Race to Save the Earth, which he spent more than six years researching as he traveled the nation and abroad to gather a sweeping array of perspectives. A graduate of Stanford and the University of California, Dr. Berger has written more than 100 articles on climate change and transitioning to clean energy for such publications as Scientific American, the Los Angeles Times, and the Boston Globe. He also has been a consultant to the National Research Council of the National Academy of Sciences, corporations, utilities, and Congress.
