Sam Cook is an American living in Ukraine. He attended West Point and served in the U.S. military for eight years as a U.S. Cavalry Officer.  Now, he lives in Kyiv with his Ukrainian wife and spends his time helping high-level visitor delegations arrange meetings with members of the Ukrainian government.  He also founded a historical society so that he can document the stories of this war. He sat down with ‘The Fight’ in Kyiv to talk about what’s at stake and what living here – under a constant barrage of attacks - has been like for the last two years.
