- Water is the number one enemy of the house.
- It's not about keeping water out, but letting water out.
- Healthy homes are built to avoid problems.
- We need mechanical ventilation 24/7.
- Just because something is code compliant doesn't mean it's going to perform well.
- We should be saying, look, there is a minimum standard.
- We can absolutely do that, we just decide not to.
- High performance houses cost too much?
- We need to think about smaller, better-built homes.
- The perfect wall is about keeping the framing dry.
