Episode 1 - Man of Steel issues one and two
Original Release Date - May 12, 2009
This is the one that launched the whole thing. Fun fact, Jeff and I had never actually spoken until we recorded this episode. I was only two years into my podcasting career, so I was still finding my voice and Jeff hadn't quite figured out his audio, which is why he sounds like he does.
As you read above, this issue covers the first two issues of Man of Steel, the series that started the entire Post Crisis era! After a little bit of background info on the creation of the series Jeff and I get into the nitty gritty and explore the first two issues of the series. Experience or re-experience the final days of the Post Crisis Krypton, how the Kents found the baby Clark Kent, Clark beginning to discover his origins, Superman’s first appearance, the first meeting with Lois Lane, Superman’s first days in Metropolis and how Clark got the job at the Daily Planet.
