Luna survived the ordeal, but many animals — including dogs and a range of wildlife — aren't as lucky. The New England Wildlife Centers addresses hundreds secondary rodenticide poisonings every year. Dr. Priya Patel explains how the poison travels up the food chain ,,, and kills unintended victims.

Carol "Krill" Carson, founder of the New England Coastal Wildlife Alliance (NECWA), has been at the forefront of rescuing the world's largest bony fish as they strand on Cape Cod.
