A Baby Update
Frank's wife is now 32 weeks pregnant, and their baby is the size of a pineapple. The baby's skull isn't fully fused yet, but her lungs and central nervous system are developing nicely. She could breathe and stay warm with medical help if she was born now. She also has visible eyelashes, eyebrows, and hair.
I Was Wrong (Again)
Frank was wrong about his niece Marie using the Frida Baby Nosefrida. It was actually her husband who used the product on their baby. Carlo's wife Trina put her foot down and said there was no way Carlo was going to suck snot out of Frank's nose.
Crash Test Daddy
Frank and Carlo tested the Fisher-Price Baby to Toddler Bath 4-in-1 Sling and Seat Tub and the B&H Rubber Ducky Bath Thermometer. They filled the tub with water and then used the ducky thermometer to check the temperature. Both Frank and Carlo underestimated the temperature, but they were still in the safe range.
What Just Happened?
Frank and Kelly have been watching childbirth class videos. Frank is not impressed with the instructor or the techniques. He thinks the videos are boring and the techniques are not going to work. Carlo shared his own experience with childbirth classes. He and Trina had to get in a bathtub and hose each other down.
Another Scan
Frank and Kelly had another ultrasound scan. The baby is now estimated to be four pounds, eight ounces. Everything is on track. However, Frank had a moment of panic when they had to wait a long time to see the doctor after the scan. He was worried that something was wrong with the scan. It turned out that everything was fine.
Frank's Three Big Rocks
Frank has been thinking about what it means to be a good father. He has come up with three main things he wants to focus on: how he treats his wife, his daughter's faith, and being a protective father.
Lullaby Land
This episode's lullaby is "Stay Awake" from Mary Poppins.
