Episode 19: No Carlo, Too Much Snow & Good Neighbors to the Rescue

A Baby Update

In this episode, Frank's wife, Kelly, is 36 weeks pregnant, and the baby is the size of a Swiss chard. The baby's lungs and brain are still developing, but everything else is largely there. Frank and Kelly are getting close to the due date and are excited but also a little nervous.  

The Silver Fox Mailbox

Frank and Carlo start the episode with a new segment called the Silver Fox Mailbox, where they read comments and feedback from their listeners. They had a good laugh over a comment from one of Carlo's sons, who is apparently watching their TikTok videos.  

A New Coffee Machine

Frank has a new coffee machine that he's excited about. He's hoping it will help him stay awake when the baby arrives. Carlo is also impressed with the new machine.  

A Surprise Baby Shower

Kelly's coworkers threw her a surprise baby shower, which was very kind of them. She received some generous gifts.  

A Health Scare

Kelly had a bit of a health scare when she started seeing flashes of light in her vision and her blood pressure was high. The doctor was concerned about preeclampsia, but luckily, the blood work came back clear.  

A Blizzard Hits Syracuse

While Frank was in Florida, a blizzard hit Syracuse, and he returned to find his house buried in snow. He had to rely on the kindness of his neighbor to help him dig out. The snow was so bad that Frank and Kelly had to reschedule their doctor's appointment.  

The Aftermath

The blizzard was a major inconvenience, but Frank and Kelly are grateful that they were safe and sound. They're also thankful for their neighbor's help.  

A Banana Smuggling Incident

Frank's sister and brother-in-law were traveling in Europe and got held up in customs on their way back because they were trying to bring some bananas into the country.  

Looking Ahead

Frank and Carlo are looking forward to the next episode, where they'll catch up on the latest developments with the pregnancy. They're also excited to see what the future holds for their podcast.
