info_outlineE61: Interview with Alissa Marie
Alissa is the founder of Alissa Marie Coaching and Mentoring, holds a management position leading 2 services and assists within her family business. She is the wearer of many hats but at the core of all of them is her passion for helping others. In this episode we discuss the benefits of working our way up into leadership roles and how experiencing different leaders, allows us to pick up on the traits and behaviours that we want to display as a leader ourselves.
The focus on the mind and the words we use and tell ourselves was a great discussion point that flowed through the whole episode. One of Alissa’s key takeaways was that if you keep focussing on all the things stopping you from doing what you want to do, you will never end up doing what you want to do. This is because there will always be obstacles in your way as that is what you are wired to look for and find. We also touched on childhood events and how they can come to affect us mentally, emotionally, and physically as adults along with the power of the subconscious mind.
Our interview even went into how the words we say and the way we think create our reality and Alissa shared 4 words/phrases that every person should avoid to ensure we are setting ourselves up for success which were absolutely gold.
