On this episode, I'm joined by the founder of Boardgains (IG: @boardgains.fit), Eric Mathura (IG: @islandgains). What is boardgains? It's literally a bootcamp in a box - a board game that is meant to get you active with your friends. Eric joins me in the studio to discuss the game, and his journey and how he took a simple idea and manifested it into launching an actual product. Listen in!

This week's podcast is one of the realest conversations thus far as I'm in the studio kicking it with the homie Tony Sidhu aka Blitzkrieg (@blitzmusic1). Tony has been in the South Asian hip hop scene since 2001. He shares a remarkable story of his recovery from a motorcycle accident last year that left him bed ridden for months as the world was locked in during this pandemic. His love for hip hop led to his most recent project: Demo Tapes which is the aftermath of his recovery from his accident.

On this podcast, my good friend, Gina Uppal joins me. Gina works at Western University as the Partnerships Lead in the Lab for Knowledge Translation in Health. The team is building a public health learning network to help connect community organizations, researchers, and decision-makers especially since COVID19 has exposed serious gaps in how evidence informs practice in public health.

This week's episode includes endless Dragonball Z references as I'm co-hosting this 'Sunny & Friends' podcast series to wrap up 2020 with a good buddy of mine - John Chatha.
John's motto in life is to always prepare for the worst and hope for the best. We dive into a fun and informative discussion on so many important and random topics to reflect on this past year. From living a simple, but meaningful life to the rat race of chasing luxuries. From the anxiety of social media to the indominable spirit as we navigate through 2020.
This is an episode you definitely don't want to miss. We dive into John's path to Sikhi and the caveats of our own personal growth journeys and dissect what's happening in Punjab with the farmer's protest.
Make sure to follow the Podcast on your listening platform and on social media to be up to date with a new episodes every week!
