Let's talk about playing the victim.

It's a term frequently tossed around in discussions about systemic racism and injustice, stirring a deep response in us as women of color. Why? Because we're acutely aware that racism and systemic injustice are not abstract concepts—they're real, and their impact on us as Black and Brown women is undeniable.

But here's the thing: we don't have to resign ourselves to this fate. Action can be taken, and it can bring immediate benefits to our lives while also creating a better path for future generations. Especially in the workplace.

Attorney Chiquita Hall-Jackson, a licensed attorney, employment law expert, and relentless advocate for those silenced in the backroom, boardroom, and everywhere in between, joins me for part two of this discussion.

Having faced bias herself, she's on a mission to create diverse, fair, and equitable workplaces. Known as the Discrimination Disrupter™, Chiquita channels her legal expertise, DEI consulting, and community advocacy to dismantle biases, harassment, and retaliation.
