info_outlineAndy Torres (from the blog Style Scrapbook) has spent the past 10+ years building a successful career in fashion by using the power of the internet. She was one of the first successful bloggers and now has a large and steady Instagram following.
Andy has managed to remain successful in an ever-evolving industry thanks to a multitude of qualities including resilience and authenticity, but the ones that stand out most in this episode are her ability to think positively, listen to her body and stay true to her values.
A few years ago, Andy had what felt like asthma on a business trip – it turned out to be anxiety. Andy was shocked, but instead of pushing it aside as an inconvenience, she used it as an opportunity to stop and consider which parts of her job fit into her long-term goals. This ability to work and act mindfully, combined with visualisations and daily affirmations, helps Andy to resist FOMO and to stay true to what she really wants from life.
You can find Andy on her blog at www.stlyescrapbook.com and on Instagram at @stylescrapbook.
