info_outlineKaren Richards on Navigating a Multi-faceted Life
In this episode, Karen takes us through her journey of self-discovery and shares with us how she has navigated through a very multi-faceted life. Karen and her husband, Josh, have three children and live in Tennessee. Karen is biracial, she was adopted and she is in an interracial marriage. Karen has MS and all three children have an auto-immune disease; their oldest was also born with cerebral palsy. She and Josh have filed for bankruptcy twice in their lives as a result of dealing with the cost of major medical procedures over the last 20 years. 2020 was a year in which she grew to learn about who she is and what matters most in her life. She teaches all of us that to be successful in network marketing and in life, one must know their own voice and be open to both listening to others and also setting boundaries to protect against unhealthy relationships. This conversation is as much about navigating life as it is about building a network marketing business and what we learn is that the two are correlated; how well we navigate the complexities of life will impact how successful we can be and, more importantly, it will help us gain clarity around what success looks like for each of us.
