Amanda chats with Whitney Otto, an Executive Performance Coach, trained therapist, and world champion athlete. Whitney shares about the challenges she faced as a competitor, her relationship with her body, and how she shifted from striving to be enough to deeper self-acceptance. Today, Whitney combines her passion for psychology and goal attainment into high-performance coaching rooted in connection, honesty, humor, experimentation, curiosity, and celebration.

Amanda and Whitney get giddy about Queer Eye and Stitch Fix, and unpack how to find the sweet spot of taking care of yourself and your appearance without becoming consumed and tormented by unhelpful and unrealistic cultural pressure.

Whitney began her athletic career as a member of the Brown University rowing team. She made her way all the way to the Olympics in 2000. While she was very successful in her athletic endeavors, Whitney discusses the toll it took on her body and the pressures she felt to make weight and constantly be working towards the next goal.
