Jennifer talks about how grateful she is to be studying a topic so relevant to world events given that we are experiencing a collective trauma during this pandemic.
She also stresses the importance of self-care, whether you have a mental diagnosis, or care for someone who does. Creating strict boundaries so that you don't feel triggered, surrounding yourself with people who understand and support you, and making self-love a priority, are all ways to heal and boost confidence.
Jennifer also shares about how she brings more mental health awareness to the fashion and beauty world via her @RunwayRedLA social media platform. She plans on writing a book on her own journey with Mental Health and opening a Trauma Healing Center in the San Fernando Valley area in less than 5 years!
