“They told us, don't send samples to the show….But I'm really more of an ask forgiveness than permission kind of guy. And so I kept sending samples…Then one of those made it to my dream shark Daymond John, and he started using the product. Loved it. And then he started ordering them from my website… I saw the order come in…So I called right away…They're like, Oh, you want to talk to Damon? Great. No chance…So I made some custom products that said, Rise and grind with a nice foil card on there. I sent him a box of 500…It was a big hit…And then I just kept sending them. And then, eventually, one day, the phone rings and it's Damon and his team calling. They say Mike, I really respect your hustle…I got more deals than I could say grace over, but I like you and I like your product, so let's work out a deal.”
