Summary:

Jean-Philippe Vezina, a social entrepreneur and leader in sustainable agriculture, shares his journey of finding purpose as a grower of plants, projects, and people. He highlights the value of mentors and the importance of having clear intentions to attract them. Through his work at Jardin Le Coeur, he promotes sustainable farming and helps Black Canadians reconnect with their culinary and agricultural roots. Vezina also teaches the history and contributions of Black communities to agriculture and supports Afro entrepreneurs in overcoming limiting beliefs. His vision includes localized food production, greater food sovereignty, and reduced meat consumption.

Jean-Philippe Vézina is a social entrepreneur and founder of Les Jardin Le Coeur, an eco-responsible farm in Montérégie, Quebec. Inspired by his Haitian roots and Creole garden traditions, he grows tropical vegetables locally and promotes sustainable farming. His mission is to reconnect Black Canadians with their agricultural heritage and support Afro entrepreneurs through mentorship and cultural pride.
