One way we 'do' this to flex our "re-imagining muscles" through conversating and imaging possibilityinto reality. Today I'm inviting us to point our collective energy towards one thing we already know about what a healthy, prospering, compassionate culture looks like.
Imagine this: We live in a world who actively engages with and values the 'elders' of the society. People who have lived long enough in a conscious way on this planet to embody wisdom through lived experienced...Good humans who share what they've learned for the evolution and wellbeing of humanity, the planet and all life on it.
In this "Tea with an Elder" episode, I invited Pele Rouge Chadima, co-founder of the Center for Timeless Earth Wisdom, (and one of my primary wisdom teachers for two decades) to discuss Timeless Earth Wisdom and its relevance to current times ... including: how we can use the wisdom of "the natural laws" for navigating and guiding our way through.
Pele has in many ways been a student of earth wisdom and feminine power since she was born (she'll share about this) and has also lived the earth wisdom path for near 50 years, gifted with the "medicine" from her teachers within a long line of indigenous wisdom.
Here's some of the wisdom that emerged through our conversation ...
- If we're in alignment with the larger rhythms, then we're working with life itself, rather than life against itself.
- Love brings up all unlike itself to be healed*. So anything not in alignment with the larger laws of life is now coming up to be made visible, to make us be aware of it. It's an invitation from Life: Humans get your act together and come back into the beauty of life itself, into the flow of life, into the patterns of life.
- Humans are but one instrument in the ongoing orchestra of life. Our job is to keep ourselves in tune, to know who we are and to do what's needed to keep ourselves in tune, and then play accordingly with the rest of life. We don't have to know everything. We don't have to be responsible for everything. Our job is to be the clearest instrument we can be.
- Change is a process, not an event. Life is a process. We tend to think of it as events. Like, how do I do this? How do I change that? Rather than how do I embody within myself the life that I want to live? How do I embody whatever my understanding or beliefs are about the laws of life? How do I live that today, knowing that I'm not going to be perfect, and that some days it's like: "Okay, I surrender."
I re-listened to the conversation myself as part of my morning practice, and it was like calm balm to my heart and a radiance boost for my spirit ... I invite you to join us and receive the wisdom and the energy of knowing we are co-creating with life.
