In recent Compton news, 2nd District City Councilman Isaac Galvan, candidate Jace Dawson and four others were arrested Friday Aug. 13th 2021. Galvan recently won the 2nd District Council seat in a run-off against Andre Spicer. Galvan was arrested Friday morning at his mother’s house. He’s charged with election fraud stimming from an apparent conspiracy with Jace Dawson to obtain the Council seat. Galvan is also charged with voter tampering.
