How are you living your life differently? Are you considered normal, or do you stand out in a crowd?
As the Apostle Paul writes in his letter to the Christians in Rome, he is reminding them of what's at the core of every Christian's faith.
We are to stand out and be different. We are not to conform to the patterns of this world.
Often, we find ourselves bombarded with societal pressures, cultural norms, and endless distractions that pull us away from our true purpose and our connection to God.
What does your everyday life look like? Are you doing what everyone else wants, living up to the world's expectations? Or are you seeking what God desires for you?
The K.I.S.S. ~ Know God's Will for you!
It's not an easy process to gain the wisdom for knowing God's will; however, a willing heart is required. If you want to live out God's purpose for you here on earth, it requires sacrifice, a deeper understanding, and faith that transcends your own understanding.
"Humble yourselves before the Lord, and he will lift you up." ~ James 4:10
It's no longer about what everyone else wants, but who God has called you to become.
You cannot point fingers and place blame on others. You must be obedient to what God requires of you and see yourself through God's eyes. It's not about what others are doing, but what you are not doing yourself.
Are you aligning with the Fruit of the Spirit and God's character?
22 But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, 23 gentleness and self-control. Against such things there is no law. ~ Galatians 5:22-23
Knowing God's Will for yourself means that you are becoming more like Him, with His attributes. You'll never be God. But He does want you to possess the character of Himself.
Get in the Word to know God more, so you can walk in His presence more frequently, and open your heart to who He wants you to become. You will never "arrive" until you meet God face to face in Heaven.
So do your part every day, and walk by faith, not by sight (2 Corinthians 5:7).
This is the day that the Lord has made; let us rejoice and be glad in it. ~ Psalm 118:24
