Create Your Now with Kristianne Wargo

Valentine’s weekend invites us to think about love—the kind that fills our hearts and shapes our relationships. But far too often, we get stuck in the world’s limited view of love: conditional, transactional, and filtered through our own failures and insecurities. God’s love, however, breaks every mold. His love is unconditional, relentless, and sees beyond our flaws. And then, He calls us to love others the same way. Love on purpose. Yet as we know, it’s easy to judge others based on our own shortcomings. We carry unhealed wounds, past hurts, and false beliefs about how people...

When you hear “sweetness” in love, your mind probably jumps straight to chocolates, flowers, and sparkly gifts. That’s the story commercials love to tell us—the more you spend, the brighter your love shines. But the sweetness that melts the heart isn’t wrapped in paper or tagged with a price. It’s something far rarer, deeper, and more powerful. The real sweetness comes from that raw, vulnerable place inside—the one that says, “I see you. I choose you. Valentine’s Day comes around each year like clockwork, bringing with it the usual swirl of red hearts, chocolates, and flowers. But for a mom, these symbols of love can sometimes feel surface-level, like they’re missing the real heartbeat beneath all the glitter and sugar. Because the truth is, the kind of love that fills a mother’s chest isn’t wrapped up neatly in a box or tied with a bow. It’s messy, wild, tender, and deeply personal. It’s found in late-night cuddles, scraped knees comforted, and whispered “I love you’s” that echo long after bedtime—you make my heart so...

Have you ever paused to consider how God truly wants you to show up each day? It’s easy to walk into church on Sunday with a smile and a heart full of joy—or at least a glimpse of it. But ask yourself: how genuine is that moment? Is it real and life-giving? Or is it just a performance, a mask worn for the crowd, for appearances? God doesn’t need the mask. He sees behind it. He knows the truth that we often try to hide, even from ourselves. No more words.

Jesus said it plainly in Matthew 5, in the Beatitudes—a blueprint for living “God’s way.” It’s a call to something deeper than words or surface-level faith.

Matthew 5:1-12 (NIV)

5 Now when Jesus saw the crowds, he went up on a mountainside and sat down. His disciples came to him, and he began to teach them.

The Beatitudes

He said:

“Blessed are the poor in spirit,
for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.
Blessed are those who mourn,
    for they will be comforted.
Blessed are the meek,
for they will inherit the earth.
Blessed are those who hunger and thirst for righteousness,
    for they will be filled.
Blessed are the merciful,
for they will be shown mercy.
Blessed are the pure in heart,
    for they will see God.
Blessed are the peacemakers,
for they will be called children of God.
10 Blessed are those who are persecuted because of righteousness,
for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.

11 “Blessed are you when people insult you, persecute you and falsely say all kinds of evil against you because of me. 12 Rejoice and be glad, because great is your reward in heaven, for in the same way they persecuted the prophets who were before you.

Each blessing challenges us to live beyond the façade.

We’re not just called to show up in church and give lip service. We’re called to be salt and light in the world. Salt preserves and flavors; light pushes back darkness and reveals the path.

Jesus said in Matthew 5:13-16 (NIV)

13 “You are the salt of the earth. But if the salt loses its saltiness, how can it be made salty again? It is no longer good for anything, except to be thrown out and trampled underfoot.

14 “You are the light of the world. A town built on a hill cannot be hidden. 15 Neither do people light a lamp and put it under a bowl. Instead they put it on its stand, and it gives light to everyone in the house. 16 In the same way, let your light shine before others, that they may see your good deeds and glorify your Father in heaven.

This is a disruptive invitation—to act with radical honesty, kindness, and purpose that cannot be ignored.

The K.I.S.S. ~ No more words!

No more words. That’s your challenge. It’s not about endless prayers spoken without action, or hollow promises whispered in quiet moments.

It’s about doing. It's about living out your faith in a way that’s unquestionable. It’s time to toss the mask aside and live as Jesus did: with authenticity, courage, and love that demands attention.

I want to encourage your heart today—take A.I.M.: Action Ignites Motivation.

When you act on what God calls you to do, your motivation isn’t the hard part; it’s the result.

Actions fuel faith and fire up your spirit. Who doesn’t need that spark to keep going, especially when the world drags us down or doubts creep in?

Let this be your daily commitment: no more words, no more pretending. Show up real, show up bold, show up as the salt and light that God made you to be. When you do, you don’t just change your own life—you change the world around you. You get to impact the world that you touch, and that’s exactly what God desires.

So today, put down the mask. Speak less—live more. Let your actions tell the story that words never could.

"Be present. Be incredible. Be YOU!!!"
