Episode 7:

In this Slice of the Paranormal episode we explore the lore of the Suicide Cell of Mt Carmel, Pennsylvania. This small brick building was once the City Hall and its basement housed jail cells for minor offenses. So we explore why 6 people chose to commit suicide in the walls of this small building. Today, the site is now a cute spirituality shop called the “Pink Moon Collective” which was established in 2020. The site exudes a much happier vibe than it did in years gone by. Check out the site yourself or follow it on Facebook at: https://www.facebook.com/PinkMoonCollective/

We also explore the ghost of Annie Metzgas, who was struck by lightning and killed in 1903 in Mt Carmel. A mine worker at the Reliance Colliery found her charred body in a grove of trees. Her ghost was said to appear on the road she died at and disappears in a flash of light. Due to the sensitive subject matter, Slice of the Paranormal wishes to advise our viewers and listeners to reach out if they have thoughts of suicide.
